🧭 Overview

Marrill is a Marilith—a six-armed fiend whose past is rooted in violence, command, and fear. But the Marrill of the present is something else entirely. Once a fearsome war-leader in service to darker planar forces, she has chosen a different path: rebuilding, protecting, and seeking redemption in the ruins of a city brought low by planar catastrophe.

She currently leads a small but growing survivor enclave in the wreckage of Linton. Though her form is unmistakably fiendish—towering, serpent-bodied, and eternally armed—her actions speak of patience, strategy, and a fierce dedication to the vulnerable.


🔧 Background

Marrill claims to have lived in Linton for decades before its fall, posing as a collector of relics and esoteric knowledge. When the city collapsed following the destabilization of the Core, Marrill’s domain was only partially destroyed. Rather than retreat or exact vengeance, she remained.

She has taken in survivors—especially children and outcasts—and begun slowly reinforcing the broken structures of her home, partly through physical labor, partly through planar knowledge. Her methods are unconventional, and her morality not always easy to parse, but her loyalty is real.

🔍 Relationship to the Party

Marrill is an unlikely but steady ally of the player characters. While she does not fight at their side in most conflicts, she provides intelligence, shelter, and occasional aid. Her relationship with Pokora and Skar has evolved from suspicion to cautious respect. She keeps a close eye on them—and they know better than to cross her.

She has also taken a protective interest in Pindle, though he would never admit it.
